| Reading Iでは、目的に応じた英語の読み方が自律的に行えるようになることを目標とする．１回９０分の授業を前半 |
| と後半に分け、前半では共通テキストを用いて一斉授業を行なう．そこでは辞書を使って単語→句→節へと理解して |
| ゆくボトムアップ的な読み方（精読）を学ぶ．後半では図書館の多読用リーディング教材を利用して、受講者が自ら |
| のレベルと興味に応じて本を選び、楽しんで読書する習慣を身につけることができるようにしたい． |

| Reading I の学習内容は、①辞書の使い方と文法知識を活用した精読の手法、②多読用リーディング教材の適切な選 |
| び方、③量を意識した多読法の実践．読み取る力は文法力に依存しているので、Basic Grammar をしっかり学習する |
