| 授業の目標と概要 |
| The purpose of this course is to increase the students’ ability to communicate in English. Therefore the |
| students will learn English conversation by studying real conversations taken from movies. The students |
| will learn English presentation skills by studying famous speeches. To practice these presentation skills |
| each student will have to recite a passage from the textbook of at least 200 words in length. Correct |
| pronunciation will be emphasized. |

| This course builds on the English classes taught in Junior High School. It is also connected to Listening |
| I, Reading I and Basic Grammar. It is a foundation course for Oral Communication II. |
