授業の目標と概要
英語演習Ⅱでは、英語の４技能（listening, speaking, reading, speaking)の向上を図るが、特にreading能力と
writing能力の向上を目指す。英文をある程度の速度で正確に把握する練習を行なう。明瞭で正確な英文を構成する練
習も行なう。（科学的英文も含む。）
カリキュラムにおける位置づけ
英語演習Ⅰはlisteningとspeaking、英語演習Ⅱはreadingとwritingと扱う範囲をおおまかに決めているが、両者は密
接に関連している。例えば同一の教科書を２冊使用して、総合的に英語の基礎力を向上させることを目指している。
またより実践的な英語力養成を目指す英語特講への準備段階という役割もある。

履修上の注意
授業の予習を行い、課題を必ず行なうこと。英語を聴く・話す・読む・書くという習慣をつけること。
評価基準
使用するテキストの内容を十分に理解していること。また英語の４技能（特に「読むこと」と「書くこと」）の能力を持ち、基本的な科学的英文も書けるようになること。
評価法
定期試験50%，（授業内課題）25%，（授業外課題）25%
